Raghu holds the position of CEO of Marmore MENA Intelligence (since 2021), a leading research and consulting firm in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, and a subsidiary of Kuwait Financial Center (Markaz), a renowned asset management company with over $3 billion in assets under management. Raghu also serves as the Economic Advisor to Markaz, providing strategic guidance and insights.
With more than 38 years of experience in the financial sector, Raghu developed core competencies in investment management, capital markets, risk management, and economic analysis. He is passionate about delivering high-quality and actionable research and advice to various stakeholders including investors, family offices, policymakers, and media. He specializes in big picture (macro) research with a keen interest in asset management, investment research, and energy markets.
Raghu has recently authored a book titled "Blueprint for Billions-Mastering India's equity market". He has also co-authored multiple publications and reports on various topics related to the financial sector and regularly contributes to blogs and columns. Raghu has delivered several lectures in conferences and symposiums over the years.
Raghu holds the CFA and FRM credentials and have been actively involved with the CFA Institute as a volunteer since 2003. He also holds the fellowship credential (FCMA) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.
